As part of EveryPlus’ commitment to bringing healthier and more sustainable through low-carbon products, together with the regional leader in solar energy solutions LYS Energy (LYS), EveryPlus is dedicated to reducing its carbon emissions – by adopting renewable energy (RE) for their business activities.

February 2022 marked a partnership with LYS Energy Malaysia with the commissioning of a solar photovoltaic (PV) system installed atop their facility in Malacca, for a total size of 262.44kWp.

The newly solar PV power plant will generate approximately 6.3GWh of total energy output guaranteed and will help the company to lower its reliance on conventional electricity while stabilizing its energy costs. In addition to the cost benefits, this clean energy initiative will enable the company to purchase RE at a competitive grid price and offset approximately 3,566 tonnes of CO₂ emissions over the next 21 years.

LYS constantly selects top-notch components combined with high-quality service to provide our customers with the greatest and hassle-free solar energy experience and has chosen for this project JA Solar – monocrystalline modules 540W, to maximize the annual energy output.

Based on the current production output and premise consumption, the energy generated by the solar power plant is expected to account for 20 to 30% of the facility’s annual energy consumption, helping to reduce Everyplus’ reliance on fossil-fuel-based electricity.

Besides energy savings guaranteed, this repeated initiative will further support EveryPlus to transition toward cleaner energy by shifting away from utilizing energy generated from conventional resources such as fossil fuels and reducing the carbon footprint of their business activities.

Based on an Equipment Leasing Agreement (ELA) contract, our client benefits from switching to solar:
