In February 2020, LYS Energy Group inaugurated a 1.3 MWp solar photovoltaic (PV) system, atop of a distinguished Pharmaceutical organization facility in Tuas, Singapore.

The renowned pharmaceutical company has been actively engaged in the environment, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives within its decades of operations in the ophthalmology and optometry field. The organization decided to propel its sustainability initiatives toward clean energy transition and engaged in LYS Energy’s holistic solutions. Consuming green and clean electricity for its daily operations to further reduce its carbon emissions and substantially advance closer to its sustainability goals.

High-performing PV system - Specifications
Installed swiftly on a metal and concrete roof within four months, the solar PV system encompasses 3556 of 385Wp monocrystalline panels and 12 string inverters of 110kW. The use of monocrystalline solar panels ensures the highest efficiency, as it produces more power per square foot, especially in warm weather, for more space efficiency. Since its first year of operation, the PV system has generated 1.78MWh of electricity at a high-performance ratio of 81{51a949674b0d1673dd02b26f56a90c371bd7d9aaee1921855d20159c2180d756}. It has helped the company to reduce the equivalent of 4,267 tons of carbon (CO2) while making significant savings in its utility bills.
