Global leading sports Decathlon partners with LYS Energy Group to install rooftop solar PV system at their first Indonesian store in Alam Sutera Jakarta, to support and align with its Vision 2028 no.5 Go Green User & Teammates, and commitment with RE100 – targeting to achieve 100{51a949674b0d1673dd02b26f56a90c371bd7d9aaee1921855d20159c2180d756} renewable electricity for its global operations by 2026.

The energy generated will be used entirely within the store to nearly achieve self-sufficiency during the daytime to significantly reduce the store’s carbon footprint of approximately 233 tons-CO₂/year.

This clean energy initiative is one of Decathlon’s biggest projects “to preserve the playground to protect their purpose, to make sports accessible to the many by loving the mother earth”.
